How to add Bundles

ConvertX Quantity Bundles help you increase average order value by offering quantity-based deals directly on the Shopify product page. Bundles are designed to sit close to the native Add to Cart area so shoppers can choose a quantity offer before purchase.

Bundles use a product page App Block and also rely on the ConvertX App Embed for storefront logic.

How Bundles work

A bundle lets you present several purchase options for the same product, such as:

  • Buy 1 at standard price
  • Buy 2 with a discount
  • Buy 3 with a stronger discount or bonus

When the customer selects a bundle offer and adds the product to cart, ConvertX applies the bundle behavior based on the configuration you published.

Before you start

Make sure that:

  • The ConvertX App Embed is enabled
  • You are editing a product that should display the bundle
  • The bundle targets the right products or collections

Bundle editor overview

The bundle editor includes:

  • A General area for targeting and offer logic
  • A Style area for design customization
  • A live preview on the selected product

You can configure:

  • Internal bundle name
  • Product and collection targeting
  • Offer quantities
  • Discount type and value
  • Offer labels, badges, and highlight states
  • Variant selector behavior
  • Optional gift or visual emphasis depending on the offer

Use two or three offers at most. Too many options can make the product page harder to scan.

Configure the bundle

Typical configuration steps:

  • Choose where the bundle should appear
  • Add one or more offers
  • Set the default or highlighted offer
  • Configure title, label, compare-at price, and per-item messaging
  • Adjust design so the bundle matches your theme

Publish and place the bundle

Publishing the bundle makes it available, but you should still verify its position in Shopify.

Publish the bundle
Save the bundle as active in ConvertX.

Open the Shopify Theme Editor
Go to the product template used by your store.

Add the ConvertX Bundle App Block
Select the Bundle App Block in the product section.

Place it above Add to Cart
Keep the bundle close to the buying area for best results.

Save the theme
Confirm the final storefront placement.

If the bundle is published but the App Block is missing from the product template, it will not appear on the storefront.

Troubleshooting

Check the ConvertX App Embed, the Bundle App Block placement, the saved theme, and the bundle targeting rules.

Review the internal bundle name, make sure at least one valid offer exists, and confirm the current plan still allows another active application type if required.

Re-check App Block placement, preview on the real product template, and simplify spacing or labels if the theme product area is narrow.

Best practices

  • Keep the main offer title short and benefit-driven
  • Highlight only one offer as the recommended choice
  • Place the bundle above the Add to Cart button
  • Test the bundle on a real product page before driving traffic to it
