Activate the App Embed
The ConvertX App Embed connects ConvertX to your Shopify theme. It must be enabled for any ConvertX module to appear on your storefront.
The App Embed is theme-specific. If you change or publish a new theme, you must enable the ConvertX App Embed again.
How to activate the App Embed
Follow these steps in your Shopify admin:
Log in to your Shopify Admin.
Go to Online Store → Themes.
On your active theme, click Customize.
In the theme editor, open App embeds.
Enable ConvertX.
Click Save.
Once enabled, ConvertX modules can be displayed on your storefront.
Common issues and fixes
App Embed is enabled but nothing appears
If the App Embed is active but no module is visible, the issue is not related to the embed itself.
Check the following:
The module status is Published in ConvertX
Display and targeting rules match the current page
The module is not limited to another theme or context
I can’t find the App Embeds section
The App Embeds panel is only available in Online Store 2.0 themes.
Make sure that:
You are editing a compatible theme
You are in the Theme editor, not editing a section template
I changed my Shopify theme
Each theme has its own App Embed configuration.
If you publish or switch to a new theme:
Open the new theme in the theme editor
Go to App embeds
Re‑enable ConvertX
Save your changes
Important behavior to know
The ConvertX App Embed does not modify your theme files and does not change your design automatically.
Nothing is displayed unless a module is published
ConvertX only loads what you explicitly activate
Disabling the App Embed immediately hides all ConvertX modules
