Add a ConvertX App Block

Many ConvertX features are placed with a Shopify App Block. This is the standard setup flow for product-page modules such as Bundles, Upsells, Stories, Payment Icons, and for most ConvertX widgets.

An App Block controls placement inside the Shopify template. It is different from the ConvertX App Embed, which controls global storefront loading.

Features that use an App Block

Typical App Block features include:

  • Bundles
  • Upsells
  • Stories
  • Payment Icons
  • Product Benefits
  • Product Highlights
  • Stock Indicator
  • Estimated Delivery Date
  • Trust Icons
  • Product Badge

Before you start

Make sure that:

  • The ConvertX App Embed is enabled
  • The feature is published, unlocked, or active in ConvertX
  • You are editing the correct Shopify theme

Add the App Block in Shopify

Open the Theme Editor
Go to Online Store -> Themes -> Customize.

Open a product template
Choose the product template where the ConvertX feature should appear.

Add the block
Click Add block and select the matching ConvertX App Block.

Move it into position
Place the App Block near the Add to Cart button or inside the product information area.

Save the template
Click Save to publish the placement.

Recommended placements

  • Bundles: above the Add to Cart button
  • Upsells: above the Add to Cart button
  • Stories: near the top of the product page
  • Payment Icons: below the Add to Cart button
  • Widgets: near shipping, reassurance, or buying information

Place only a few conversion elements around the Add to Cart area. Too many blocks can reduce clarity and hurt conversion.

Troubleshooting

Check that the feature is already active in ConvertX and that you are editing a compatible product template in the right theme.

Check that the ConvertX App Embed is enabled, the block is saved, and the current product matches any targeting rules.

The current template, product targeting, or collection targeting may limit visibility. Test on a targeted product.

Best practices

  • Save after every placement change
  • Use one clear placement per feature
  • Test on a real product page after publishing
