Cart Drawer footer modules
The ConvertX Cart Drawer footer is built from configurable modules that support checkout completion and additional revenue.
Available footer modules
Footer modules include:
- Shipping Protection
- Discount Code
- Order Notes
- Discount Lines
- Subtotal Line
- Checkout Button
- Express Checkout
- Payment Icons
Shipping Protection
Shipping Protection adds an optional protection offer inside the drawer. When enabled and accepted, the linked protection product is added to cart.
Before enabling it:
- Create the protection product in Shopify
- Give it a product image
- Set the desired low price
- Link the product correctly in ConvertX
If no valid product is linked, Shipping Protection will not display in the Cart Drawer.
Discount Code and Order Notes
Cart Drawer can expose:
- A discount code input
- Order notes in a static field or collapsible panel
You can customize labels, placeholders, icon size, control height, border radius, and colors.
Subtotal, checkout, and express checkout
The footer also controls the final conversion area:
- Discount lines
- Subtotal label
- Checkout button text and style
- Optional express checkout area
The checkout area should stay visually dominant. Treat extra footer modules as support, not as the main CTA.
Payment Icons in the footer
Cart Drawer can show payment icons in the footer as a final reassurance layer near checkout.
Best practices
- Keep Shipping Protection optional and clearly explained
- Use a simple discount code input
- Keep the checkout button visually strongest
- Use payment icons only if they support the final CTA rather than distracting from it
