Cart Drawer sections

The body of the ConvertX Cart Drawer is built from reorderable sections. These sections let you add urgency, progress, cart context, and trust without sending shoppers away from checkout.

Available body sections

The main Cart Drawer sections are:

  • Announcement Timer
  • Free Shipping Bar
  • Cart Items
  • Recommended Products
  • Info Message
  • Trust Icons

This page focuses on the body sections other than Recommended Products, which is covered separately in Recommended products in Cart Drawer.

Announcement Timer

Use the Announcement Timer to show a timed reservation or urgency message inside the drawer.

You can configure:

  • Custom text
  • Minutes and seconds
  • Text size and alignment
  • Padding
  • Sticky behavior
  • Background and text colors

Use urgency carefully. The timer should support conversion, not feel misleading.

Free Shipping Bar

The Free Shipping Bar shows progress toward a shipping threshold.

You can configure:

  • Goal amount
  • Progress and success text
  • Bar height
  • Fill and track colors
  • Whether to show the start and goal amounts
  • Sticky or regular behavior

Cart Items

Cart Items remain the core section of the drawer and should stay easy to scan.

Available controls include:

  • Quantity control alignment
  • Delete button visibility
  • Delete button position
  • Product title, variant, price, and compare-at styling

Info Message

The Info Message is a simple content block for reassurance or short operational notes, such as shipping or support context.

Trust Icons

Trust Icons let you add short reassurance rows inside the drawer, such as:

  • Fast shipping
  • Secure payment
  • Easy returns

Order and spacing

Sections can be reordered and spaced individually with top and bottom margins.

Keep the cart body lean. Too many sections can slow down decision-making at the most critical step of the purchase journey.

Best practices

  • Keep Cart Items as the visual priority
  • Use one urgency element and one reassurance element before adding more
  • Use margin controls to separate sections without making the drawer feel long
